HOW IT WORKS
Hit the block. Score is milliseconds.
Scoring
A new Solana block lands about every 0.4 seconds. You tap when it lands. Your score is how far off you were, in milliseconds. Early and late count the same: only distance matters. A try is five taps on five different blocks. Score is the mean of those five errors. A missed tap counts as 250 ms.
Latency check
Before a try we measure lag over the live connection. We keep the shortest round trip, halve it, and cap the correction. That offset is shown as lag measured. It stops a slow link from looking worse than it is.
Practice and ranked
Anyone can practise for free, no wallet needed. Ranked play is also free. You sign in with Phantom by signing a short message, not a transaction. Ranked needs a $ONBLOCK holding, a human check, and five tries a day. Your best try counts.
Prizes
Prizes come from creator fees. When trading is slow, prizes are small. 80% of claimed $ONBLOCK creator fees go to the prize wallet. 20% runs the game. At 20:00 UTC the 10 closest ranked players split the pool. Payouts are on chain. There is no entry fee.
Fairness
Ranked tries are checked for bot-like patterns, linked wallets, and holding at both try start and round close. A payout needs an X account over 30 days old, linked to the wallet. The founder reviews the top 10 before signing the payout in Phantom. Flagged or banned wallets do not win.
